Meet Dr. Jenae' Proctor, a compassionate and dedicated professional committed to mental health care and empowerment. With a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Capella University, a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the esteemed Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Morgan State University, Dr. Proctor brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
As the Director and Clinical Supervisor of the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic at Mettle Works Behavioral Health in Largo, MD, Dr. Proctor leads with vision and empathy. Holding a full license as a Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, she boasts over 8 years of invaluable experience as a therapist. Her practice spans across diverse demographics, including families, couples, children, and individual adults, showcasing her versatility and inclusive approach to therapy.
Throughout her career, Dr. Proctor has tackled a broad spectrum of mental health concerns with unwavering dedication. From childhood trauma, anxiety, and depression to conduct issues in children, she has provided impactful support and guidance. Her expertise extends to addressing adjustment issues, bipolar symptoms, and various manifestations of anxiety and depression in adults.
